The Mutual Aid Society helps people and communities.

We are the core of mutual aid efforts inside Harmony UK.

We operate the Emergency Payment Fund, a redistributive solidarity fund which supports people with up to £20 gifts on a first come, first serve, once per month basis. We are looking to increase the maximum size of the gifts soon.

Meanwhile our Mutual Aid Fund provides a means to support initiatives by Party assemblies, especially the Mutual Aid Society, which provide direct aid to individuals or communities. For example the Mutual Aid Fund covers all fees incurred by the operation of the Emergency Payment Fund, ensuring that the entirety of donations reach the people they're intended for.

We have plans to do much more - all of which will require extra resources. You can donate to the Mutual Aid Fund to support our efforts  below.

Donations to the MAF are not counted towards the £500 limit on donations, which only applies to the Political Fund and Party membership subscriptions.

While we do need money what we need even more - always - is people. People to talk, people to come up with ideas, people to act on them. Not always the same people - but sometimes!
