Annex G: Regulation of Affiliation of Organisations with the Party

This annex concerns the Affiliation of Organisations with the Party.

Organisations seeking Affiliation may do so by making contact with the Foundational Committee. If the Foundational Committee lacks a Secretary, then the General Secretary may act as the Secretary of the Committee for the purpose of commencing the Affiliation procedure.

The Foundational Committee has responsibility for formalising the method by which Organisations may request Affiliation with the Party.

There must be a physical meeting, or a video call, between at least one officer of the Party, and at least one officer of the Organisation seeking affiliation, in order to confirm the application.

The Research Working Group however has responsibility for verification of applications. The Research Working Group is required to make contact with two verified officers of the requesting Organisation in order to confirm the request.

Once the application is submitted and verified by the Research Working Group, the Foundational Committee or its Secretary must notify the General Secretary of the Party & the Electoral Society.

The General Secretary must organise a Party Thing upon verification of the application to form consensus on the matter of the application.

If the Party Thing grants the application, then Affiliation commences. If it is not granted by the Consensus of the Party Thing, then Affiliation may not go forward. The applicant Organisation is entitled to reapply; however, the wording of the refusal resolution may deny that reapplication in advance. If such a "permanent refusal" is put in place, the Operational Working Group is given remit to revoke that refusion (by consensus of the Working Group) to allow another application.

If Affiliation proves undesirable to the Party Membership & Participants, then they may signal their desire to commence proceedings to end that Affiliation by collection of petitions totalling 25% of the total active population of the affiliate assembly. Petitions must be submitted to the Committee for Resolutions. The Committee shall then determine by consensus whether or not to retain or conclude the Affiliation.

When Affiliated with an Organisation, the Party shall commit, at minimum, to:
